Appreciating the church in Seattle

When I was decided to go to Seattle, I contacted the church in Seattle by e-mail asking if the brother’s house would be available for my hospitality. After a few days, they replied that currently all the rooms are occupied and only the living room is available. I answered, “OK, then I will book a hotel myself.”

Early this week, while I had finished booking a hotel, they said they are willing to arrange a couple of families for my hospitality. And today they said they will pick me up at the airport. Wow, I’m quite surprised at their kind arrangement. In addition, this is not a single person’s favor, but rather everything is being arranged in the fellowship of several brothers (cc’ed in the mail thread). So, I feel the entire church is welcoming me.

Excited to be there and to enjoy the church.

Floating Markets

After the Lord’s table meeting, we went to Damnoen Saduak and Amphawa floating markets. Actually Hyung-sin and I had debated about which market to go to. As saints accompanied us, however, we went to both markets.

We went to Damnoen Saduak first.
This market is active in the morning. Because we arrived pretty late, there were only a few people and many stores were closed.
Here are some photos:

Next, we went to Amphawa.
This market was full of people. It seemed like a huge food market. The saints bought us various kinds of food. We had become full even before we had dinner. We could have paid for the food, but the brothers and sisters spent their money without hesitation.

After all, we got tired of eating. But Hyung-sin and I were shocked when we heard that we would eat dinner again after 2 hours! This photo was taken while we were waiting for a boat for the firefly tour.

After the firefly tour, we went to eat dinner.

It was an awsome trip. Since the young boy(Pratan) and girls(Tien & Lin) spoke English very well, we had a wonderful time talking to one another.
I really thank the brothers and sisters for their unsparingness.

Prologue

Saints

Saints

“You yourselves know that these hands have ministered to my needs and to those who are with me.
In all things I have shown you by example that toiling in this way we ought to support the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. ”
Acts 20:34~35

Before I started the trip, I didn’t expect this trip would be great so much.
Hyung-sin and I decided to go to Thailand without deep consideration.
We were too busy to prepare for it enough.

But the saints in Thailand served us wonderfully.
That was what I had never expected.
The Lord just showed me how I should serve saints.
It’s unlike the way the world’s economic principle works.
How amazing this Life is.
How encouraging the above word is.

Lord, bless the saints in Thailand.
Bless the saints all around the world.

The church in Denton

In moments like these, I sing out a song.
I sing out a love song to Jesus.
In moments like these, I sing out a song.
I sing out a song to my Lord.

Singing “I love You, Lord.”
Singing “I love You, Lord.”
Singing “I love You, Lord. I love You.”

In moments like these, I call on the Lord.
I call “O, Lord Jesus.” He saves me.
In moments like these, I call on the Lord.
I call “O, Lord Jesus.” He saves.

Calling “O, Lord Jesus.”
Calling “O, Lord Jesus.”
Calling “O, Lord Jesus. Jesus is Lord.”

“This song is so appliable.”
